John Ederer

John Ederer is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Teradata. A member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team, he is responsible for leading the Corporate Finance function, including accounting and reporting, corporate development, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, internal audit and controls, tax, and treasury.

John has a proven track record and deep acumen in leading large-scale financial disciplines, driving strategic planning and value building. He has in-depth knowledge of the software industry and extensive experience leading business transformations, transitions to SaaS models, and accelerating growth.

Previously, he was the CFO of Model N, a cloud revenue management solutions provider. There, he led a profitable growth strategy overseeing teams in accounting, financial planning and analysis, internal audit, investor relations, and other key areas. 

Prior to that, John was the CFO of K2 Software, a provider of cloud-based and on-premises digital process automation solutions.

John brings more than 25 years of financial leadership excellence, having held senior positions at major enterprise software companies including TIBCO, SAP, Business Objects, and Ariba. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from Brown University and is based in Seattle, Washington.
