Using Teradata’s Geospatial Tools To Protect Forests, Reduce Credit Risk, and Create Sustainable Development in Brazil

Previously, Sicredi processed and analyzed rural properties against protected forest areas using Databricks. Processing in Databricks often took over 4 hours and resulted in outdated insights for Sicredi credit lenders to take action. Given the reliance of each banking branch on this data, having accurate and timely information was crucial to assessing credit risk effectively.
